Brad came to me a few weeks ago and asked if I wanted to go on vacation in April for a week. Of course, I said, sure! Where?
Fast forward to this past week and we were discussing where to go. I had mentioned some time ago that is love to take the kids to Disney before the new baby gets here in August. That turned into a phone call with a Disney travel agent and the trip was booked the following day! It all happened that fast!!
The kids don't know and they are going to be soooooo thrilled when we tell them! 10 days at Disney... They will be absolutely over the top with excitement!
Can't wait to make memories that will last forever and see the magic on their little, precious faces!!

AK will be a good big sister!!
Today we stuffed Easter treat bags for the boys at Youth Town. It's a project that service league does each year. I let the kids decorate the bags and help fill them with candy. We had a couple other girls and their kids helping. Whitney had her sweet little 6 month old son, Pierce, with her. Anna Kate loved Pierce and took it upon herself to read a book to him. She would read the page and then show him the pictures, just like mommy and daddy do when we read to her. I know she is going to be a wonderful big sister in August!!
And I'm glad the kids got to help provide something special for those less fortunate than us. It's laying a foundation of life long giving and service I want them to understand and embody. Thankful for my precious children and all the blessings The Lord has bestowed on our family.

Kid Rockin up and down the block
We went to Nashville to see kid rock in concert. It was lots of fun but... The front desk clerk told us when we checked in that we didn't look like kid rock fans and said that we looked like we were going to smoky Robinson?! Not sure if that was a compliment or a polite way of saying we are old?!!
Oh well, we had an awesome time with our friends.
Aunt Ruth
We visited my great Aunt Ruth at her nursing home this week. She was so happy to see the kids and they were so sweet. BBP kept patting her leg and telling her he loved her.
The Ultimate Home Protection
Super butterfly girl, captain America and Spider-Man showed up in force last week!!
Valentines sweeties
A day of love! We had a special valentines. I love my sweeties and am the luckiest mommy ever!
Neighborhood happenings
We live in the best neighborhood. There's always lots of fun and action going on. We went to watch the concrete trucks a few weeks ago and before we knew it, the guys were inviting us to help them work. It was so fun for Barnes to put on his boots and get in the concrete. I was appreciative the guys asked us to help them. It gave the kids a special treat.
Daddy is my stylist
Anna Kate got a cute makeup set for Christmas and she loves to be gussied up. She asked daddy to do her make up and he did good!
Gun toting mama!
Gammie and I took our handgun carry permit last weekend. It was fun and we learned so much in the 10 hours we were there.
Swimming!
Barnes is taking swimming lessons at Union Swim Club and he's loving it! He swam underwater by himself for the first time this past week. Anna Kate loves watching him and can't wait til she can get in too.
House Guests!
We were so lucky to have a visit from sweet baby girl, Ella Ruth and her mommy, Jessica. They came down to visit with their Tennessee friends. We were happy to get to spend time with our great friends. Barnes and Anna Kate had a great time hanging out with Ella Ruth and Aunt Jess!!
