45 days an counting...

Things are in high gear at the new house.  We are in the home stretch~ only 45 days to go!  And its a good thing, cause we are ready.  I am NOT ready to pack up all of our belongings and schlep them over to the new house.  But I am ready to be settled and ready to get it all over with.  We are thrilled with how everything is turning out.  It looks beautiful and we are so overwhelmed with how blessed we are. I cant wait for my children to grow up in this house!

Pretty Pretty Princesses!

When you saw this blog post title, I'm sure you thought it would be about the baby girl, Anna Kate.

Well, not exactly...

Don't worry, our ALL boy isn't dressing up like a princess... We went to the Strawberry Festival a couple of weeks ago. I grew up going to the festival every year and the Perry family has deep roots in participating in the Strawberry Festival.  Poppy (Brad's dad) was a festival king when he was a little boy and rode on a float.  I wish I had a photo of Poppy up on that float, I'm sure it would be like looking at a photo of my little boy on a float, they look identical.

So, back to our experience at the 74th Annual Strawberry Festival this year...

Below are the top things Barnes loved about the grand parade:

10. Fire trucks
9. Floats
8. Horns on the fire trucks
7. Spending time with his friend Sophie
6. The crowds of people
5. Tractors
4. Big Trucks
3. Popcorn and drinking orange soda at 10am
2. The marching bands!!

BUT... The Number 1 thing he liked:

1. Waving to the pretty, pretty princesses(that's what he called them)!

He told me they looked like they got married.  So sweet.  Hes started telling me lately I look pretty or I look cute.  Or he will see a girl or lady in a store and say he thinks she is pretty.  Look out girls, just try to not fall in love with that dimple!
