One word describes our Christmas - MAGICAL! What a fun time with our little ones. Anna Kate turned two months old on Christmas day and Barnes had the best time seeing what Santa brought to him. We started our Christmas festivities with Christmas Eve service with Poppy and Yaya. Barnes loved seeing baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph standing on stage at the end of the service. He said aloud, "Happy Birthday, baby Jesus!" So precious. Gammie got him the Little People nativity set and he enjoyed learning about baby Jesus and the animals coming to see him in the manger. That was his favorite part of the story.
Santa left the #1 item on his Christmas list at Poppy and Yaya's house: a football helmet! he was thrilled to get a UT helmet. He wore it home and slept with it Christmas Eve night. Brad and I watched him on the video monitor when he woke up Christmas morning. He immediately put his helmet on and started getting out of bed to see what Santa brought. You can see in the photo of him coming out of his room that he has it in his hand.
Other favorite items were his train table and air hockey table. A small, indoor trampoline from Nana and Papa Bill was a big hit too.
Overall, our Christmas was more than I could ever have asked for.
Happy Christmas, as Barnes said! Hope yours was great, sorry for the post being a month late! We've been busy at the Perry house with lots of big happenings.
